can i pause while recording a video?

I want to start recording a video, and be able to pause and start multiple times. Can't understand why this seems to be so difficult. Seems much easier that having to trim multiple videos, then link the videos together.

Would love this feature. Would be interested in partnering with someone or a company to develop this feature if not available or possible. Otherwise, it may be time to switch to Apple or Google.

meadowsdad1, that's a great question. I would use a feature like that all the time! While the stock camera application does not have this functionality, you may be able to find this by searching the Windows application store for third party apps that may have this feature.
