can't delete some msgs on lg cosmos 2

Does anyone with a LG Cosmos 2 Slider phone have problems deleting some text messages?  Any suggestions?

I'd be happy to help you with this text problem KV59! Do you get an error message when trying to delete these messages? Do the messages that will not delete have a padlock icon next to them?
