deleted a voicemail and need it back can I get it back and hear it again?

Since you posted your question in basic phone space, I going to assume that you have a basic phone and not a smartphone. If this isn't the case, please provide your phone model and if you have the basic non-visual voicemail or a visual voicemail.
With a basic phone, you would be using the basic non-visual voicemail. As I understand it from my own experience with the basic non-visual voicemail, you can only restore a deleted voicemail in the same session where you had originally deleted it. Once it is deleted and you exited out of voicemail session (call), you can't restore a previously deleted voicemail.
Perhaps it is possible to restore a deleted voicemail by another means only accessible by the VZW reps that roam this community or the ones you can reach by calling customer service at 1-800-922-0204 from a landline or *611 from your phone. It would be a long shot at best. Otherwise you have likely lost the message. Good luck.

I know accessing your messages and staying connected is a big deal. We're always glad to do all we can to restore messages. If they were deleted and the session was ended there isn't currently a way to restore those. We'd be glad to share any options to possibly back up future voicemails though to help prevent this in the future. What type of phone do you have? What type of voicemail do you use?
