Yesterday my e-mail wasn't updating. Normally if I power the phone down and then power it back up, that reboots the e-mail app and everything works fine. I powered the phone down, but when I powered it back up I got the red "Verizon" screen and the phone won't progress past that point. I tried to power it down again and that no longer works, so I had to take the battery out. Now, every time that I try to power the phone back up, the phone freezes on the red "Verizon" screen.
