Lumia 735 error code 80072ee7

My Lumia 735 is getting error code 80072ee7 during the update process. I have tried several soft resets and also deleting the snt406- before the server name in the email+accounts without success. My next step.....short of calling VZW support??

Another possibility is a third-party app, but the link is the company recommending their own product. I always think of this as sketchy, and I'm loathe to download anything from a site I don't know. Take a look and make your own decision: What is error 80072ee7?

Hey 47seijar,

      Thanks for giving me some info on the code definition. For me it's an error code that is on my phone, not my PC. From my readings it is guiding me toward the MS Outlook updating or lack of.

       I wonder if anyone else is getting this code also. A few have reported it on numerically lower numbered phones and the work around they are using isn't working for me. I'll give it some more time for others to see this post before I call VZW Support.

The solution to my error code as diagnosed  by the tech people at VZW......turn off the auto update feature.

It did "solve" the code but it seems real lacking in resolution of WHY the code happens in the first place.

And now the error code during a update check is 80072efd.

Thoughts.....work arounds??????

From what I can find about the error:

80072efd - There was a temporary issue with a server or your Internet connection during the update.

Make sure you're connected to the Internet and try again. It's best to connect to WiFi so you can avoid possible mobile data charges

Are you trying to update using data or over WifI?  Have you tried a soft reset an tried again?

Yep....on WiFi and several soft resets. If and when VZW rolls out  WP10M I would like to think that the phone will have zero issues with actually getting it.
