Number of times phone rings before going to voicemail

Can anyone tell me how to set the number of times your Samsung Gusto rings before it goes to voicemail? Mine only rings 4 times and then goes right to voicemail. I use it on the job and would like to be able to answer the calls but 4 rings is not enough time usually. I can't seem to find this in any of the information I have for my phone. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

There is no way for YOU to set the "number of rings" before it goes to voicemail. :smileysad:

It is actually an amount of time set at Verizon's servers, something like 30 or 40 seconds.

You can call customer service and see if they can reset yours, but I don't think they are doing that anymore. What *might* work for you is to have a song that plays continuously as a ringtone, rather than distinct rings that stop and start....

Handyman, SuzyQ is absolutely correct in her reply to you.

There is no set number of rings, instead the phone will ring a total of 30 seconds prior to being sent to voicemail. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to alter this setting for you.
