I'm getting my new thunderbolt tonight and have been reading something about the sim card and calling *228 to switch from my existing phone. Is there anything I should know before doing the transfer? Power button sticking?
Is anyone else's power button sticking? Sometimes when I press it to lock the phone it just stays down. I can't press it again to "wake up" the phone so I'll have to semi-pry open the case.

Alternative to Skype on Thunderbolt?
Since it appears Verizon is in no hurry to bring Skype to the thunderbolt, is there an alternative app out there does also does video communications?

3g/connection issues
Anyone else having trouble with mobile data today? I been using wifi pretty much all day and I decided to go out for a few turned wifi off and turned mobile data on and nothing is connecting. So I was wondering if anyone else is having issues today? I like in the Indiana area if that helps. Thanks

No Audio! on recorded video!!! - Thunderbolt
I have very little to no audio on my recorded videos. Seems to be either a rear mic problem or software issue has not enabled rear mic. Audio is fine when talking through front mic on phone calls. Volume levels at max settings. Anyone one else have this problem?

Anyone got info on how to access a full site and stop from being redirected to the mobile site? For example Facebook I tried bookmaking the full site when I was on the full site but when I use the bookmark it auto-redirects me to the crappy new mobile site.

Agreeed, it IS Awesome. However, the battery life is pretty poor, it takes serious watching and management to make it last more than a few hours. Turning off WiFi and GPS helps a lot, heavy browsing will also kill it faster. The extended battery helps, but you cannot use the case or the silicone case with that battery…
