I recently just contacted Verizon customer support and spoke with 2 reps. 1 being a supervisor about an issue concerning a plan that I purchased for my Verizon jetpack. I explained to them that the plan lead me to believe that I would have 2 months of data purchased at an amount of $100.00. I know that the cellular plans give you a limited amount of 4g data and when that runs out you are limited to 3g speeds until your next cycle so with that being said my understanding was this plan would be the same way. $100.00 for 10GB of 4G LTE with 3G speeds consistent upon use until the end of the 60 day period. I began using the jetpack with my PlayStation 4. After around 8hours of gameplay I checked on the data usage tracker on the my Verizon page and it read 7.4 gb of 10gb remaining. The tracker said 14 % of usage that I assumed was only 14% that I had used. I clicked on the data plan and it read in big green bold letters that read "You have plenty of data left until your remaining 60 days" so I assumed everything was fine. Then I try to reconnect my PlayStation 4 to the Verizon jetpack and it won't reconnect. Instead it asks me to spend another $100 for 10 more gigs of data! And so I called customer support. I first spoke with Oscar who was very nice and he told me I had 5 GB of data left but that after that was used I would have to buy more. Then I explained to him what I just explained to you and I asked for a refund of my money and he said he couldn't. So I asked to speak to his supervisor who's name was Francis (employee i.d. [removed] ) and after explaining to him the same thing he said he couldn't help me either. So now I'm contacting you so I can contact Mr. Keith [removed] who I assume is still region president of the southern region. I live in Mississippi. If I would have known that I was gonna waste $100.00 of my hard earned money in no less then a day's worth of entertainment on a Verizon plan that lead me to believe I would have 2 months of constant service then I would have never purchased it! Xfinity Comcast offers a $50 deal with unlimited data for 1 Month. I understand yalls speeds may be faster but I would rather spend my money on something that may not be as fast but I know is gonna last a lot longer. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Could you please help me?
Thank you,
Brandon.
