How to Remove Apps from Home Screen

I just bought a LG K20V phone. There are a lot of Apps I will never use. How would I remove them from my Home screen?

I figured it out. On this phone it's a lot easier. There is an option to "Hide Apps".

On most phones you tap and hold the icon and when your screen shrinks drag the icon up to the top. There should be a trash can up there and leave it on top of that
