Text message issue. someone please answer.

hey all. Just got the droid, and well im not even sure if this is an issue but all of a sudden when i send texts this envelope is next to them with a little green I in a circle next to it. why did this start happening all of a sudden? anyone?

I have the Droid Eris, so this sounds similar to the little icon I get when a text I send doesn't, in fact, get sent.

 

I don't know a lot about the Moto Droid, but there's bound to be an online manual available somewhere.

 

Now, exactly why  those texts aren't being sent would be another matter, if that's what the icon means. Need to figure that out first.
