Why is my data usage spiking in the last two months??

Over the last two months, my data usage has spiked. I even had to go to a larger GB plan so I don't run out of data. Prior to that, I hardly even used one or two Gigs in a month. Something is going on, and I do not like that I am paying so much for my usage. My son switched to A T & T and pays much less than I do for unlimited usage. Surely wish that I had not upgraded to an iPhone 7 and extend my plan. I should have switched, too.

An unexpected change in usage would concern anyone and we want to get to the bottom of it just as much as you do. In order to identify what exactly may be the cause of the increase we would first need to know more about how all the lines are using data. I can't access the link because of the message "unexpected error occurred. I checked the link even before I wrote my message. Nothing has changed In My using my iPhone. If you check my months previous to May, you would see that I used less than - gig fir one month and NEVER went over 2 1/2 gigs on any other month. I am not understanding how this suddenly changed when nothing on my part did

Well that is surely odd! Seems to be working on our end. To access that link you may need to simply clear your browsers cache and cookies. We definitely want to ensure that you have access to this tool as it will help you better understand your data usage.

In regards to your usage, whether it's your patterns of usage, applications in the background or other device processes, there is likely an explanation for what you are seeing. More to that point, none of our devices, including the iPhone 6, would have any known issues with data consumption. As well, there are no network reports or alerts of this description. You also mentioned having an iPhone. Are you aware if Wi-Fi assist is enabled? See how to check https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-182821/. Also, what seems to be using the most? Check by going into Settings & Cellular.

Yikes Pinbust. We never want you to unknown data. Let's get to the bottom of this. Have those lines been somewhere that didn't have wifi? Let's look into the usage. What model Android are they?
