why is service so bad in Jackson WY

I have been a verizon customer in the 83001 area since it became available ( over 20 yrs) and have never had such poor phone service. No bars/one bar, sometimes two. Dropped calls, no ring straight to voicemail ( very frequent) and no signal screen, cannot connect, etc.

I have done all the trouble shooting steps I can find on your website,*228, reset sim, power on and off and etc.

I have a Samsung S4 an an LG flip phone both having the same issue so am inclined to not think it is a device problem.

I checked the area using the zip code you provided, and there are no reported alerts. When did you start having these issues? Is this only affecting calls? Is the issue only while indoors in this area?

I can confirm. Work in Jackson. Data service is almost non-existent for the last month. The local bus service offers wi-fi, and it uses a Verizon cellular modem, and they haven't had service for around a month. Can't give an exact date, because I work in Jackson and have Wi-fi on all day, so I didn't really think about it until it started happening every day.

Some days I'll have 4-5 bars and still not be able to access anything data related.

I am having the same problem in Jackson, WY. I have been a Verizon customer for over 10 years. I moved to Jackson a few months ago and the 4G service in Jackson is non-existent. I thought it may be my phone but I have had several friends and family from out of town come to visit me and they have the same complaint. It shows I have 4G but I cannot load any website or use any app that requires 4G service. Please help me. If this continues, I will be forced to change providers.
