Kyocera Update changed my lock screen.

I would like to know why the face ID option was removed from my recent Kyocera Brigadier update.  It also seems to slow everything down I the touch screen does not work as well as it did.  Is there a system restore option?  Because I just got this phone a week ago, really liked it, now in the last hour since this happened I'm really disappointed.

Tell me more about your touch screen not working as well as it did before the recent update. To clarify, the Face ID that you're referring to is the "Face Unlock" feature, is this correct?
