Can’t clear voice mail indicator on home phone NOVT20

The blue light is flashing on the device and the instruments‘ lights are flashing, indicating voice mail. We’ve listened to the voice mails and deleted them to no avail. I’ve reset the device also to no avail. How do we clear the voice mail indicator?

RABAR, we want to make sure you are able to clear this indicator so that you know when voicemails come in. When you listen to the voicemails and delete them, if you go back in, do you still hear the same voicemail that you had deleted?

No. The voice mails were, in fact, deleted.

Today I had a new voice mail. When I played it back, then saved it, the device voice mail indicator cleared, but my handsets still show a voice mail waiting.

Have you tried disconnecting the handsets from the home phone base station?

Thank you for the suggestion. I just tried that, but to no avail. Home telephone device is cleared (showing no voice mails), but the three instruments are all still flashing.
