At home both inside and outside. iPhone 6 and iPhone 7 both went from a strong signal (4 bars) about a month ago to weak signal of 1 to 2 bars. Calls drop, can't connect to calls. Text works fine and data is on home wifi. Zip code is 03908.

Nothing has changed in the area. I selected Verizon years ago because of the signal strength at my house rather than other carriers. I'm now wondering if I need to reconsider.

We have updated the ios and my guess is that we have installed new apps but I can't recall the specifics. I don't understand how that would cause a reduction in signal strength especially since I'm in work this morning, area code 03801, and have a strong 4-bars out of 4 signal. I'll check out the HD Voice and Wi-Fi Calling features. Also, I checked with my next door neighbor (~200' away) who has Verizon service on an Android and he has a weaker (2-bars) signal that he had before.
I checked the HD Voice settings on my iPhone and the Enable LTE is set to voice and data.
