Open the My Verizon app, click on the Menu, top left corner. Scroll down to Account, click on Add-ons, chose the Device. Click on Your Add-ons, if you have insurance it will tell you what insurance coverage you have.
Or check your bill to verify if the premium charges are there.
Insurance will replace the phone with a refurbished unit of the same model for the price of the deductible. It may be cheaper to find a kiosk in a local mall that can replace the screen in an hour and allow you to keep the same phone.
I’m finding this out to be so very true. Is that why every time I try to make an insurance claim on just my cracked screen (working phone) it tells me it’s going to be $200? I don’t want to replace the whole phone, just the screen. Why does it say $30 screen replacement? Any idea how you can get that? This is getting frustrating.
