Outage in SE Missouri?

Hi, I live in French Village MO and almost everyone has Verizon down here because it is one of the only services that works here. Well ever since about 10am yesterday September 30th everyones phones have been down. The internet does not work. It is taking 3-5 minutes for text messages to go through. Just wondering what is going on. It has affected everyones phones down here. Thanks.

Is this happening everywhere, or specific to certain locations? What happens when you try to access the internet on your phone? What kind of phone?
