Switching Over

I'm a soldier deployed in Afghanistan for the next 9 months and I'm looking to switch from Verizon to T-Mobile. Besides having to pay off the remainder of my phone balance is there anything else I need to do to switch over to another network? Also, how can I keep my current phone number?

You also might want to check into Google Fi for another option and to allow you to keep your number.

JARCOO58, we would hate to see you leave! You do have the option to suspend your services while deployed at no cost. Once you'd like to activate services again, your number would be secured for you to use again with our services.
