The T2000 will not show the name of the preson calling, like the Wireless Home Phone dose, even with the extra Caller ID name plan and no 1 will tell me why.

I upgraded to the T2000 from the Wireless Home Phone to get the fax capability. I was not told that the t2000 will not show the caller name of the person calling like the Wireless Home Phone. When I went in to make shore that I still had the Caller name package on it, it now says that it is unavailable. Dose anyone have any idea on how to fix this other that canceling the service?

I want to make sure that all of your concerns regarding the Wireless Home Phone T2000. The T2000 should support Caller ID by displaying information on the screen. Have you attempted any troubleshooting?

I have the same problem where it will not show the Caller ID for any of my incoming Call Waiting calls. After about an hour on the phone with a Verizon rep last night, he found that Caller ID for Call Waiting is not supported right now by the T2000. I regret that I switched over now.. How can you call this an upgrade when it is actually a downgrade of the features I used to have less than a few days ago. Extremely disappointed.

I am new to this problem. Purchased the T2000 a few weeks ago, to replace my land line (transferred the land line number to the new wireless device). As has been discussed by others, the Caller ID function does not work, even though I was told it would when I purchased the device (I am paying for the caller ID function). I have spent a couple of hours on line with Verizon representatives on two occasions, to no avail (they tell me that the caller ID function should be working, but they know not why it is not), and today I went back to the Verizon Wireless store where I purchased the device. According to the store rep, he is seeing something on line that indicates this is a software problem that will be rectified in a later software update (but no date is mentioned for that). This is very disappointing. With the huge number of incoming calls that I have, mostly for solicitations, the caller ID function is very important. Does anyone anywhere know if/when the Caller ID function will be added to the T2000?
