On Cyber Monday of 2016 I purchased two model iPhone SE. The special was to get them for $5.00 / month. I received a confirmation e-mail from Verizon congratulating me for getting the phones for $5.00 a month. Several months later I realized I was still paying full price. I contacted customer service who investigated my claim. I was told I purchased the phones at 12:23 AM on Tuesday not 11:23 PM on Cyber Monday. I am in the Central Time Zone. They assured me that the bill would be corrected after sending it to someone else and he would call me back to confirm. After not hearing anything for several days I called back to get the same story. This time they just offered to take $5.00 off my bill for the next 14 months. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. I ended up paying full price for both phones. Don't get scammed by this trick.
