We live in the far NE city limits of Columbia, MO, and only have one bar of reception. This is a fast growing area. Are there any plans to improve service in our area?
We want you to have the best possible service in your area, ANNLOV76. We are always working on ways to expand and enhance our coverage area. Let's take a closer look at your area and see why you're only getting one bar of reception. Does this happen indoors and outdoors? What's the zip code where you're located? What happens when using the phone for calls, text, and data?

One bar is indoors, but next to a lot of windows. We have two Smartphones, both with one bar. One bar for phone and text. Area code is 65202, again in the far NE of the city limits of Columbia, about 2 miles east of HWY 63 and a quarter of a mile north of Mexico Gravel Road and barely in the City Limits.
Thank you for providing that information. I know how important it is to have a reliable service. With regard to the device and service please allow us to make sure you are all set. Based on the area I do not show any service issues in the area. However, we do want to make sure you are all set. Are there others with the same issues.

Please commit to driving this area and checking your service bars. That is the best way for Verizon to show concern for customers. I'm sure you will do this in the near future because Verizon is a good company.
Wow ANNLOV76 I would have thought that you would be getting more then 1 bar of service from where you are. Is it 1 bar with 4g or just 1 bar? From where I am at Columbia is a thriving city with a big population one would think that you had better service there. I am down by Mtn Grove. I have 1 bar with 4g but most of the time I have just good ole fashion 1 bar no g's about it. I live in a wooded area so don't really expect even the 1 bar. I have to admit when I do go to town I have at least 4g with 2 or 3 bars thats why I would think it would be better where you are at. Hopefully they will get this fixed for you and soon.
