No more Voicemail but get cryptic text alert ??

I use an Iphone 5s

Recently, I have stopped getting voicemail alerts and instead I get a cryptic text message.

This is a typical text message that I get:

//VZWVVM:SYNC:ev=NM;id=817;c=1;t=v;s=17605643495;dt=24/04/2018 17:28 -0700;l=6;dev_t=7

When I get this text, I have learned it means I have a voicemail.

When i go to voicemail it says "Call Voicemail" and It's as if I have called form any other number. I have to enter my pass code and such...

I don't do "Apps" or any other things on my phone and have made no changes or downloads.

I've checked to make sure no apps have taken anything over and have confirmed on the website that the account shows no changes or adds.

Any help or thoughts to my issue is much appreciated.

Getting the proper voicemail notifications is essential, Sp0iler. We certainly want to make sure we get to the bottom of this. Are you getting notifications for your other apps? Did you recently switch phones or get a new number? Are other data services like websites and emails working when wifi is OFF?
