Missing icons on LG G5 running 7.0 Nougat

For the past few weeks I've noticed that some of the icons grouped together in folders on my home screen go missing. Others stay.

I can re-add them to the folder, where they stay for a while, then disappear again. This is very annoying.

I originally thought it was related to moving apps to the SD card, but I've avoided that and the same apps go missing day after day.

Facer

Alto

Netflix

@CaroCogitatus The LG G5 is a fantastic phone, and I definitely want you to take advantage of all your applications. I'm sorry this is happening to you. Have you made any changes to your phone recently? Have you tried to disable/enable the applications you're having problems with?
