I currently only receive 1x at my home, though Verizon lists my address as having 4G LTE Data Coverage. Every now and then 3G will show up for a few seconds but that's it. I understand that I am on the edge of coverage. Even though I receive very little signal, would I be able to boost the 1x to 4G if I put up an external antenna? Or since its 1x most of the time, there is no signal to actually boost?
