Why Is Verizon Service Lacking In My Area?

Verizon is the only carrier that offers service in our area. We once had pretty good service, but it is steadily getting weaker and weaker. Will any new towers be added to help with this problem? I hear tons of complaints from people that live in my area. My husband was told by Verizon that the "tier" we fall under is the weakest.....ironic that we are only the lowest tier, but pay the same for our service as someone on a better service tier. Any advice on how to get something done?

You are charged for a nationwide plan. Not a regional plan. Regional plans have been taken away. This way, no matter where you go in the US, you pay one price for service.

Hello i have lived at the same residence for over 20 years and I used to have great verizon servie. About 2 years ago that all changed and Im lucky to have 1 bar now. Ive looked on the service map it shows great coverage. Ive also spoken to tech support and nothing has been done to assist me. My daughter has tmobile and was given a cell spot i think its called where it gives her full bars at home. She was given that for free while shes w tmobile however verizon has said i have to pay $200 for the same thing for coverage i used to have. This is my last resort trying to find someone to acknowledge and rectify this issue or at least try... please help me figure out what the problem is..

It is difficult to guarantee service within a building, because some materials restrict signals more than others. A network extender functions like a mini cell tower and extends the signal inside your home. For your current area, this would be the two ways that you may enhance service to your phone while inside your home.
