Attaching Random Pictures to Text Messages

Yesterday when my boyfriend send me a picture, an old picture was attached to the text message.  This picture has been deleted off of his phone for months.  Today my mom sent me a picture and it attached an old screenshot that I had taken almost a year ago that was no longer saved on my phone.

Is anyone else having this issue?  He has an Iphone and I have a Samsung, the only common factor is that we are both with Verizon.

This is crazy and an invasion of privacy and if it isn't fixed or corrected I am wondering if there is any legal action that may be taken,

This is happening to me too and its driving me crazy.

A random picture that I took waaaay long ago and barely remember will attached itself to texts either I send, or that someone sends to me, and I'm the only one that can see it. I already stopped at the verizon store to check it out and good thing i had screenshots of the conversation because otherwise I wouldnt have been able to describe it properly, He replaced my sim card to see if it helped, it hasn't. I cleared my messaging cache and that hasnt worked. I'm at a loss of what to do but this getting really annoying.
