Can I use my $30 talk, text, and mobile web plan with a prepaid smartphone?

I have had a basic prepaid phone for years with a $30/month unlimited talk, text, and web plan. If I switched to a cheap prepaid smartphone like a ZTE, would it keep the same plan or is there a different one for smartphones? Would a similarly priced plan have limited data?

I suspect you will have to switch to one of the prepaid monthly smartphone plans to activate a smartphone on your line. The costs of those plans are available on the website.
