will we be able to pre-order the iPhone X on the same date as the pre orders start on apple site on the verizon wireless store online?
Jacob, I had the same question. I just got off the phone with Verizon. The dates would be the same as the Apple preorder. I am interested in the iPhone X and that pre order begins on October 27th, same as the Apple. Hope this helps. Sm

Verizon can't, under their agreement with Apple, sell or allow pre-orders BEFORE Apple's dates. You got wrong information.

I will like to know if I am currently using an iPhone 6s plus and I'll like to upgrade to the IPhone X once it comes out I can upgrade since I was checking it online but can I upgrade when I do the pre order or do I have to wait untill is available

The phones were literally announced by Apple yesterday. What makes you think the Verizon employees would be trained on that yet?
Apple most likely wouldn't want the information leaked before their announcement, so I'm sure they have not given answers to the phone companies yet.
If you want to leave Verizon then leave.
The original question was regarding when the will X be available to pre-order so saying September 17 is incorrect because it isn't available til Oct 27.
You can update when you do the preorder you'll just keep your phone until they sent you the iPhone X from their they will send you a prepaid box to send your old phone back.
Its kind of confusing when this ad pops up when I do a search for the iPhone X pre-order.
That is why you should never just assume. You should always read the details. You can't just read a headline or byline and think you know the answer. If you assume that is the correct date without taking one more minute to actually click the link and read the information then that is your fault.
