Hi, at my work we use a VOIP system run through a system called Contivio (https://www.contivio.com/ ). The other day I discovered that if I dial my own number or my husband's number I get the following message "Welcome to Verizon Wireless, the number you have dialed has been changed, disconnected, or is no longer in service. Please check the number and dial again. 2 switch 4 182-5" Oddly enough, if I listen through the message twice, after the second time it repeats the message the line starts ringing again and the call comes through to my phone. (I just discovered this when trying to type up the exact error message)
Our account is active, I can get through to either phone from the other phone, from co-workers cell phones, and I can call out to other phones -including the numbers that route to my desk at work. I called in to customer support the day I found out, they had me complete the software upgrade on my phone in hopes that that was somehow the problem. After completing the upgrade I re-tested it this morning to still have the same issue.
I am not sure if this is an error on the side of VZW or Contivio, or if it is some weird setting I have to prevent spam calls. But I am about to graduate grad school and am job hunting for a job in my field so I really would like to be able to be contacted no matter how people are reaching out to me. Any assistance in the matter is appreciated. Thank you.
