I work with sex addicts (Stages 1-4) who desperately want and need a porn filter
on their phones that has no backdoors and which is made for adults. All of my clients
would pay a significant premium for a filter that is unbreakable and would protect them.
At this point the only way they can use their phone is to have no browser and no Apps.
Some of the things that they need are ...
A remote administrator system that is allowed to make changes to the filter but can not be changed by the client.
A way to totally block major social media sights (which are full of backdoors) like Facebook, Google and YouTube.
An extensive Black and White List ... that actually works!!!
An extensive Black List of English, Spanish, German, French and Portuguese porn sites.
An extensive way to filter apps. so that they will not provide back doors and a way to keep Apps from being added.
A secure Web Browser.
The prevention of adding a VPN.
A separate DNS that could not be changed would be great!
I have been trying to work with OPENDNS and their PROSUMER line. But they are difficult.
OPEN DNS is not the first fitlering system that I have tried. Most have back doors, are too expensive, difficult to use, were made for children, or have a virus in their system. Most of them are a joke and can be broken with a limited knowlege of the internet.
