When you call my phone it says the voicemail is full but it's not full. How can I fix this. I have tried a soft reboot and have cleared my deleted messages.
Have you tried the suggestions in the other discussions on this community forum about the same topic?

THE SOLUTION IS TO RESET NETWORK SETTINGS.
This was happening to my wife's phone and she tried the *86 solution to manually clear her voice mail, but it didn't work. I was frustrated so looked and did some research and found that call forwarding can cause the same problem. She is not sure how call forwarding got activated, but I suspect it happened during an upgrade because this is seemingly a common problem. To make sure call forwarding is off dial *73. You will hear a couple of beeps. Then try your voicemail again. Hope this helps.
That also worked for my iPhone. I am not sure either how call forwarding got activated, but I too recently upgraded to an iPhone XS Max. Thank you.
Tried the *73 and did not work
how do you reset network settings?
I tried both the*73 trick and resetting network settings drink. Neither worked. I have trimmed down the number of voicemails saved in my phone I have deleted the deleted voicemails emptied the trash. I still have more than 50% of the storage space left on my phone so I cannot figure out why this is happening. Also my battery life is terrible but went to Verizon store and 86% battery life isn’t enough to do a warranty repair... even tho it’s a “red flag”.
My phone was down to 16% by 1 PM yesterday and was completely dead by 3 PM yesterday following a full charge at 7 AM.
I was told to contact Tech Coach and chat does nothing I ask a question and on response.
Wendy, we will need to refresh your voicemail feature on our end. Are you able to reach out to Customer Serivce for their assistance?

Had the same full voicemail problem with my iPhone 7+., even after I had completely emptied the box and cleared all deleted items. Verizon rep told me to reset network settings and it worked. Go into settings:General and scroll all the way down to get to network settings.
This solution worked!
Awesome! dtm73, I am glad to learn the solution provided worked for you. Don't forget to 'like' the post that provided you with the correct answer.

OMG THANK YOU THIS TOTALLY WORKED.
I deleted my DELETED calls and deleted my BLOCKED VOICEMAILS (I have cut a lunatic out of my life and I had no idea the phone still took his voicemails despite being blocked). Don’t know if either apply to you but it’s worth a shot.
Resetting Network Settings worked immediately. THanks!
We tried everything we could think of and this actually was the fix that worked. THANK YOU!

I have gone in by *86, my only options are 4 (change personal settings) or * to exit. I've reset my network settings, didn't work. I can't seems to get in to delete anything they are saying is making my box full. Any other ideas?
That worked for me.
