Does anyone know if this phone is compatible with Verizon Wireless Service??

Does Verizon Wireless sell it? If not, no. A quick Google search reveals that this is a GSM device (with a SIM card) that is currently being offered with AT&T service. I'm sure someone will unlock it for use with T-Mobile, but there's no telling when that might happen.

As Spottedcatfish said, a quick Google search reveals that it is a GSM device, so therefore, NOT compatible with Verizon service. Looks like an interesting device, but with the Android OS 1.6?? Isn't the OS now 2.2 rolling out to upgrade folks who have 2.1?

ME: "I am interested in purchasing a Dell Streak. When will it be available on the Verizon network? thanks!"

Agent: "unfortunatley we don't have the answer as to when Streak will able for verizon."

ME: "OK - when the streak becomes at least unlocked and at best avail on the Verizon network I will make the purchase..."

I know directly from the horses mouth at Dell that they will release their Dell Streak cellphone/pad for use with Verizon in Summer 2011. I think it would now be high time Verizon would start ramping up on this right now because that is the phone I would like top upgrade to, and would like information presented on Verizon's website *now*. As a longtime verizon customer, I would most appreciate if you complied. Resistance is futile LOL. Thank you! Now let's hear about it! :smileyhappy:

And BTW the latest Dell Streak comes with the Android OS version 2.2, not the 1.6.

The Dell Streak is a GSM device and will not work on Verizon's CDMA network.
