Call forwarding information

Does anyone know if there is a way for me to tell when a number calling me was one that I had forwarded from another phone?

I am looking to potentially forward calls from my work phone to my personal (so I don't have to carry two around), but I'd like to be able to tell when a call I get came through my work number and was forwarded, as opposed to a direct call to my personal cell.

We are very sorry to say, but there is no way for your phone to know what calls you received are forwarded from another phone number. Typically, only the actual person calling would know, because when the call is forwarded they would hear a tone or sudden stutter with the ringing sound.
