Recommendation on which smart phone would be best when going from a flip phone

Looking for recommendations when picking my 1st smart phone. I have had the same flip phone for a long time and finally ready to upgrade to a smart phone. I am in my late 59's and do not want or need a complicated phone. Mainly for calls, text, email, apps,internent access, & picture taking. Also do not want one that is too big or heavy. Thank you for suggestions.

Look at the bargain prepaid phones (android) or consider the Samsung A10. Its on the smaller size. All you need is a gmail account to set it up. I do not recommend iPhone
