Can I change the shipping address after preorder?

I'm in sort of a tough situation, as I'll be moving in the next few weeks, likely right around preorder time, but before the phones arrive. If I preorder online with my current address (paren'ts house) would I be able to call the next day and change my phone's shipping address to the new location, while also allowing another phone on our family's plan shipped to the old address? Essentially, I want two iphones shipped to differing addresses.

It is not exactly a "preorder," but rather a "presale." You are purchasing the device before the formal release and may receive it several days beforehand. Next, if you order it and then need to change your address, it is likely that you would be placed at the end of the line of presale orders. Keep that in mind.

what the last poster said. i followed these forums during the incredible release and the X realease and you couldn't change the shipping address after the order was placed. some people were told that they could, only to find out (after waiting much longer than expected) that the way the rep handled it was to cancel the original order and place a new one (moving you to the back of the line). Won't you know where you are moving to by the time you order? or do you know anyone where you are going that you could ship it to?

I'll probably just have it shipped to my parent's address then, and have them send it to me. Thanks for the last 2 replies, they were helpful.

• Access your account online via "My Verizon" using your Account Owner ID and password and do the following:

1. Click on “Change Address” icon located under “Profile” in the “I Want To” section at the bottom of your “My Verizon” home page.

2. Click on "Edit" located underneath "Billing Information" section.

3. Update information and click on "Submit."

4. Next, to ensure you are billed correctly for taxes and surcharges, please select "Phone Usage Addresses” link at the bottom left of the page

5. Choose the wireless number you wish to update from the dropdown menu.
