iPhoneXR suddenly stopped sending picture messages

I've had my phone for six months. Nothing has changed. I was able to send pictures to my husband yesterday, and today all I get is a red exclamation point. I tried sending to my sister as well, and I can't send to her either.

I've tried restarting my phone, disconnecting from wi-fi, making sure SMS is enabled when iMessage is not available, and I got the newest software update. Nothing works.

What changed since yesterday afternoon??

Having access to send picture messages is important, and we want to make sure this service is working properly. Are you able to send picture messages to other iPhone users? Do you get an error message when you try to send a picture message?
