Has Backup Assistant for Contacts on VZW Website Gone Away?

Has Verizon Wireless discontinued the Backup Assistant for Contacts on the VZW website? I used to be able to manage my Contacts for free from the VZW website, but now I can't find that feature any where in my account and Customer Service Chat doesn't seem to know either. I understand Verizon is charging for full Cloud content and photo backup, but I thought backup for Contacts was free? Thank you.

HeidiLaF, we always want to ensure you have your contacts backed up. The Backup Assistant was one of our original ways to back up your contacts. It is no longer available. We now offer the Verizon Cloud. You can review more about it here:
