iPhone Messages can't send picture and group message to Android

My iPhone's Messages can't send a picture and group message to Android phone.

I once moved Google Fi from Verizon, then moved back to Verizon.

I tried clearing and resetting Cellular Data Network setting using Google SIM but not succeeded.

Actually, this symptom has existed before I used Google Fi.

The phone line has been used from the flip phone era.

Any help?

I have the same problem - switched this line from t-mobile to Verizon and got a new iPhone 12 and now I can't send group messages if there's someone in the group with an android phone. I also can't send pictures.

Spent an hour on the phone with customer service changing and resetting all sorts of settings rebooting etc. They finally told me to try a new sim card so I went to the store and swapped on the sim card. Still nada - no change.

This is getting seriously annoying.

I search all over the interwebs including this board and there is no solution. I'm of the mind that something on Verizon's end got corrupted during the phone port from the other provider.
