I saw an ad for "free" iPhone when you add a new line. I was using my company v7 phone which as you can imagine, dying for a charge. Great time to use this promotion, or so I thought. I went through the process of releasing the number to a personal account. After all that, Verizon did not consider this a new line, (just a transfer) so I was out of luck. Is this a sign of things to come?
