I've been trying for hours and there's apparently no way to do so. Browsing through these forums, it appears as if Verizon has been aware of this problem for at least six months and still hasn't addressed it. When I try to cancel through Disney, it says manage the account through Verizon. When I go to the Verizon web page for account add-ons, it's impossible to cancel through there. Customer service wasted hours of my time and cannot cancel it. So now it looks like I'm going to be forced to pay for something I don't want. Major fail, Verizon.
