I am torn between purchasing the Ally or the Droid 2. I currently have the env touch and am now needing a little extra. Any comments would be great. Thanks
Well its not really much of a showdown, the ally has a 500mhz proccesor when the Droid 2 has a 1ghz proccesor(1000mhz). The Droid 2 is a Droid X just with a smaller screen, a keyboard, and no HDMI Output. If you want to save money buying an Ally is a no-brainer, but if money isn't a problem then the Droid 2 is the phone of choice. By the way if you visit some websites you will see that Verizon will release the HTC Merge, Droid Pro, Droid 2 Global, and the LG EnV Pro. I recommend waiting if you want phones with more power since these phones have faster proccesors.
Stay away from the Ally. Seriously since Verizon pushed out this new update they went to fudge. I used to have a good little phone that did everything I wanted....Now Im lucky if the stupid things rings when its supposed to. Ive got till December and July till I can get both my phones replaced...Either that or smash the dumb things and get a certified pre owned replacement and who knows how well those will work.
