WTH? It says shipping address invalid. Its the same as the billing address that THEY entered for me! It won't let me continue!
did it to me too...I had to ship to my mother in laws...her adressed worked for some reason
Got a family member or close neighbor? Use theirs, call them tomorrow tell them that it was an emergency. they'll understand.
won't take my mom's address.....and I tried ship to business and it tells me to enter a company name and there is no line for company name. This sucks.
Try a different browser. That did the trick for me. I was using Firefox, but it worked with Safari.
I feel your pain, I'm exhausted - I want to go to bed and now I can't get the shipping address to work. I've tried multiple addresses and none of them are working. I want to cry

That's what my problem was! I was getting really frustrated, so tried switching browsers, and now I'm getting an iPhone! Thank you!
I've tried Firefox, Chrome, and Safari to no avail. I'm trying to get this for my mother as a gift. I was going to order directly from apple, but I have no idea if they will honor her "New Every 2" $50 credit. This is very frustrating.
I have Safari and had a similar problem with the shipping address. I wanted it shipped to a business, but there was no field to enter a Business Name. Huh?! When I tried to submit the order, it kept giving me an error message. So, I switched the selection to Residence and entered my work address instead - work and home are in the same city. There was an additional problem with my residential address, but that's a long story... Sigh. So, will be calling VZW tomorrow to clear things up. I still haven't received an email confirmation.
Thanks for all of your suggestions. I also received the same error. I finally went and ordered it through Apple. It cost me $50 more, but I won't be in a two-year contract (I hope).
Just placed the order using Google Chrome ~ try that.
Tried ordering through apple.com but the shipping address was wrong and wouldnt let me change it.
used google chrome and worked great.
I had the same problem so I went to www.apple.com and order the phone and paid $50 less!
I tried forever with IE and kept getting the shipping address error. When I switched to Safari it went through. Still not confirmation email but I do have an order number.
Did the same thing shipped to to where I work and left it as residence and changed my service address to that to get it to FINALLy work.
This is maddening! I was up until all hours of the night to order, and the system failed! I called VZW today and they know there is a problem and are trying to fix it. They gave me no estimate as to when it will be solved. Sucks.
At 3am I received the 'invalid shipping address' error no matter what address I entered, on a pc with IE 8. This morning I tried it on a pc with IE 7, and it went through fine. Maddening, for sure.
Try making your contact phone number different to your cell phone number
Why are you responding to a 26 month old post? I'm sure whatever issue they had was solved a LONG time ago.
What made you so sure? This is 09/15/2021, and I met the same infamous error and I can't finish the checkout process. What other aspects of life have you been so sure about? Rethink your life.
