I traded-in my old phone to iphone 13 mini on Sep 30th. I went to a TCC retail store because it said it is an authorized Verizon store (3285 Christiana Mall, Newark DE 19702). While trading in, I was informed that there would be one time "activation fee" of $49.39 and then 2 months later I was also charged $30.00 from Verizon on my bill as "Device payment upgrade fee". The store has not informed there is going to be a separate "activation fee" for the same phone or the store is the third party store so the "official" Verizon will charge you again. I just do not understand thow the Verizon authorized retailer can charge me a separate activation fee.
