Verizon email today about January 2023 Network Changes - LG G6 US997 Unlocked

Received email from Verizon this morning saying that our LG G6 phones would be inoperative on the Verizon network after January 1, 2023.

"On January 1, 2023, if you are a Verizon customer using a 3G CDMA or 4G device that does not support HD Voice (Non-VoLTE), your device will no longer make/receive calls, send/receive text messages or use data services."

Both of our phones are specified by the last four digits of their cell numbers as impacted by this upcoming change.

We have LG G6 US997 Unlocked phones that have HD Voice turned on.

Does anyone have an opinion on whether these phones will continue to work after the planned network decommissioning?

Making sure you can fully use your phones is a big deal. We don't want you to be without a working device. Phones with HD voice will continue to work after this change. With an unlocked phone not made for our network sometimes we don't have full details about the device so that is likely why you were included in this but I would expect it to still work if that supports HD Voice. -Andrew

So why is Verizon sending out all these notices to deceive us? What do we do to verify you aren't going to shut off service?
