Hotspot plan timing?

My wife and I travel a lot and find that the performance of many hotels internet is spotty. We are considering purchasing a dedicated hotspot, but would only use it when traveling, 3 or 4 months a year. We've been using our phones, but would like something with a bit more data and 5G speeds. is there a provision in the hotspot plan for paying monthly, so we could start service when we start our travel and stop it again when we return home?

Taking your hotspot with you is a great way to make sure you're connected, and that your connection is secure. You mentioned that you would like to use it on a temporary basis while traveling, and be able to turn it off once you're home.
