Flip phone to Iphone

I need to convert my old Motorloa flip phone by year end, since Verizon will no longer support it . The phone is currently on a Post paid plan. Can I convert it to an Apple Iphone 13 mini, on a Pre-paid plan, AND keep the same phone number that I have on the flip phone.
