It keep saying Mobile + Home Rewards savings may be affected after pending account changes are made. When I try to join mobile + home discount. Talk to several agents, none of them get this done. I am getting unlimited plan because it have discount, now I have to pay $60 extra every month.. not saying that free iphone 12 from verizon is trash, very slow and lag. cant even beat the 7plus I used for several years.

I have the same problem. I tried all browsers on a desktop and a mobile device, and in the mobile app. Also, I tried reinstalling the mobile app. Nothing works. This error message about pending changes makes no sense.

I’m also facing the same issue and I have been on numerous calls with Verizon Reps. Supervisors, Technical Team Specialists and what not. It’s been over a month now and no one has helped me at all. It’s not what I expected when I transferred 7 lines to Verizon. If this continues, I’ll forced to leave.

Got off a call with FiOS support. The rep suggested that my $39.99 300mb plan is the old plan and does not work with m+h discount. He updated my plan to the latest $49.99 300mb. He said to wait to tomorrow and it should allow me to enroll. Will report back tomorrow. Hope this works, as I can not go back to the old $39.99 plan.

I have been trying since September to get this discount as well and have continued to see Mobile + Home Discount savings may be affected after pending account changes are made. I have tried the chat multiple times, I have tried calling, I even went into a Verizon store and NO ONE could help me. It's very discouraging.

I am having this exact same issue. I have had dozens of calls/chats with Verizon Wireless and Verizon Fios. A few weeks ago I was told they manually add the discount, but it did not show up on my next bill.

Has anyone had success getting this resolved?

I have been trying to resolve this for a month now. The support is totally useless.

Don't waste your time DMing with them, this is an IT technical issue on their end which they aren't resolving.

I was told they opened a ticket on my behalf and that I would get an update within 5 days, which never happened.

To emphasize, DMing LEADS NOWHERE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Agreed with above. I had 3 different tickets opened. No follow ups as they promised. Whenever I reach back to follow up on, they always beat around the bush and never have a status for the opened ticket. They then open another ticket......

100% Agree with you. It’s such a shame to see what Verizon has become. It’s been 2 months now and every time you reach out to them, they put you on hold for 1 hour or more. They keep tossing you from one department to the second and ultimately disconnecting or keep giving the same excuse over and over that it’s being worked upon and you will have a resolution soon. Estimated time is about 3-5 business days.

It was the worst decision to switch to Verizon. DON’T SWITCH to VERIZON if you are still deciding. STAY AWAY!!!

Can you please post what the resolution is here rather than sending each of us on individual journeys through hours of chats/call/tickets?

Posting a link to a FAQ or telling us to DM Facebook/Instagram account is not helpful.

Our goal is always to provide the support needed. What happens when you try to complete the registration for Mobile + Home?

Via the My Verizon App:

Click on Account at the bottom of the screen.

Navigate to the Bill section and click View Bill.

Click View Details under the account number and review any notes on how much the customer may already be saving in discounts.

Scroll down to see More Ways to Save and browse discounts.

Navigate to and click the Learn More in Mobile + Home tile.

Click Join Now to start the enrollment process.

Enter Fios username and password and click Verify Account.

Agree to terms and click Join Now.

The previous two replies are part of what all users on this thread are frustrated about. We all know those steps, and we have been told to go through those steps every time we reach out. Everyone here got the same error message when clicking the "join now". That error message is the title of this thread. There are also multiple screenshots of the error in this thread. It just seems like you just copy and paste generic guides and responses without reading any of the posts in this thread.

Not trying to be rude, but I have gotten the above response for the past month. Some users here have been dealing with it for 3+ months.

When we click " Join now" to start enrollment, we get an error right away. Error is ""Mobile + Home Rewards savings may be affected after pending account changes are made." We don't get the option to log in to the FIOS account. This has been said many many times in this discussion thread.

I can provide a logical reason why we are getting this error and This is a billing system defect. We are using One Verizon ID (same id for both Mobile and Home accounts); it does not know how to enroll. Also, there is no option in settings for us to disable/unlink One Verizon ID.

I'd like to help ensure that you are able to get the most savings possible. Just to make sure we are on the same page, have you been able to sign up for the discount successfully? Where exactly are you running into an issue?
