How do I hide my number on outgoing calls?

To block your number from being displayed temporarily for a specific call:

1. Enter *67.
2. Enter the number you wish to call (including area code).
3. Tap Call. The words "Private," "Anonymous," or some other indicator will appear on the recipient's phone instead of your mobile number.

You can turn on Caller ID Block with the My Verizon app or online to prevent people you call from seeing your mobile number.

My Verizon app:

1. Tap the menu in the top left to open it.
2. Tap Plans & Devices.
3. Find the device you want to add Caller ID Blocking to and tap View details.
4. Tap Block specific services.
5. Find Caller ID Blocking and tap the switch so it's green.

My Verizon website:

1. Go to the Manage Blocks page in My Verizon.
   
   Note: If you have more than one line on your account, select the line you want to block Caller ID for.
2. Tap or click Block Services.
3. If you're on a smartphone, tap Add. Otherwise skip this step.
4. Under Additional Services find Caller ID Blocking and select On.
