Business accounts: Call your Sales Support Team.

Thanks, the reason I ask is because I tried to buy my son an LG cosmos through the website. When it got to the "add features" section for that phone, it did not show an option to add usage controls.

So I'm not sure how the controls would get turned on if I purchased that phone.

The following devices are restricted from Usage Controls:

BlackBerry devices
KIN™ Devices
Push to Talk devices

The Lg Cosmos is compatible with Usage Controls. You can add the feature through your My Verizon account. To add usage controls to your account follow the directions below.

Sign into My Verizon (Make sure you are registered as the account holder)
Click Safeguards
From the Parental Controlstab, click Learn More.
Click Add to Your Account.
Select the account membersthen click Continue.
Verify the numbers displayed.
To continue, read the Terms and Conditions, click I have read and accept...then click Continue.
Review the charges then click Submit Changes.
Click Close.

I was told that all Verizon phones supported usage controls and that I would have no problem adding to my plan for my daughters LG Vortex. Well after several attempts through My Verizon and receiving msg "UCADD cannot be added to this line because it conflicts with 1", I went thru the customer svc reps, several over a months time I might add who never called me back. They didn't know what UCADD even meant. I can guess that it means Usage Controls cannot be added obviously. Over this frustrating Verizon Service I have never been so angry. I went to Verizon office and they just got on phone with rep the one time when she said "she manually forced my usage controls through and in approx 4 hours I could go on My Verizon and add it with no problem". Well 6, 8, 12 hours it was the same thing. I then go to Live Chat and she comes back with Log On to My Verizon and contact customer svc. UNBELIEVABLE. OVER AND OVER AGAIN. FInally after two more visits to store they said they had no idea what was going on and there was no problem with Usage Controls. By this time now I knew every step, msg I would get, etc as we went online AGAIN and on phone with another tech support rep and she finally comes back with they do not have it working yet with this data pkg and has no idea if or when it will work. I am livid at this point and had lost alot of sleep, etc and do u know what they said when I said I needed a data pkg for her that I could control? They said I could find an old Verizon phone to use instead. BAD BAD BUSINESS. I am paying over $900 a month for pkg with them and this is what they do? Bull**bleep** I say. I am and will continue to warn associates of this until I get reimbursed for this phone and pkg I was sold under false pretenses. This is very wrong
