Compare Set Box HD/QIP 6200 to QIP7100

I ordered a new HD box to suporty my new Bravia XBR LCD. Verizon sent the QIP 6200 model rather than the newer model (7100). Verison charges the same price for each box. Is there any reason that I should insist on the QIP 7100??

I was told that the new boxes would not be available until the remaining stock of boxes are all deployed. It shouldn't make much difference.

I am in the process of trying to get one of these boxes as a step up from my 6200 series. The real BIG difference right now is 7.1 sound, and from other users on this board they have insisted that the sound is noticably better. I just made the call last week to get one of these out to my house but as i figured today i got it, yet it was a 6200. I called and they said they'd ship a 7200 out but i can only wait and see.
